Kad Lärp-iyusturdu (/læ̝rp/ /iˈjusturˌdu/ [aroused (sexually)] [permission]) is a temperate Large City located in the Wápkunju Principality of the Konei.

The name Kad Lärp-iyusturdu is derived from the Goblin language, as Kad Lärp-iyusturdu was founded by Vris, who was culturaly Gnoll.

Climate

Kad Lärp-iyusturdu has a yearly average temperature of 0°C (32°F), with its average temperature during the summer being an icy 24°C (75°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a freezing -24°C (-11°F). Kad Lärp-iyusturdu receives an average of 204 cm/y (80 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Overview

Kad Lärp-iyusturdu was founded durring the late 16th century in winter of the year 1556, by Vris. The establishment of Kad Lärp-iyusturdu was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Vris electing to pay people to resettle in Kad Lärp-iyusturdu.

Kad Lärp-iyusturdu was built using the conventions of Gnoll durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kad Lärp-iyusturdu is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Kad Lärp-iyusturdu is is constructed arround a series of premissive baked earthen mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city is the proud owner of a proper castle-style stone wall complete with all of the trimmings. It has towers, a moat, gatehouses, drawbridges, and even merticulationsshortsizeleadershipname.. The city's perhapse unnessisarily well built defences are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the citys defences.

A look around Kad Lärp-iyusturdu gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Cultural Notes

Religious leaders are influential in almost any community, but in Kad Lärp-iyusturdu they make up the final authorities. It may be an explicit theocracy, with rule by the clerics of a particular faith, or a temple might be so important and powerful that the official leaders are helpless to resist its will. The locals can be expected to be loyal adherents to the faith, or else the less pious majority is deeply intimidated by the religion’s believers.

Kad Lärp-iyusturdu's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town.
